The classes are for students of all levels. There will be a still life set up so we can be painting from the start.
It will be a great time as you try new techniques and discover your abilities. The materials included in the additional charge are: 11 x 14 board canvas, paints, brushes, pallet knife, water container, and palette paper. You are also welcome to bring your materials and an 8 x 10 photo to work from if you would like. All students will be encouraged to work at their own pace.Each session is from 4:30-6:30 with clean-up after. The paintings can be taken each week or stored on site.
In the class we will cover~- Sketching on the canvas to start
- Shadow placement
- Design
- Color mixing, thinning, and thickening
- Selecting and use of brush or palette knife
- Perspective, Depth and Highlighting
