Shout out for Dolores Gomez at Viajes Vertiz
I usually do all my own travel arrangements, but this was a very complicated one with several stops. Dolores not only found the elusive Google Flight rate, but then found one even cheaper and better. She’s a jewel.
Malinda is the travel agent we have been missing in the USA for the past 20 years, at least. She actually negotiated with United Airlines for me and secured three round trips to Houston for what I would have paid for two, had I done it myself. Can plan great travel itineraries for you, too, world-wide. She’s the best.

These days you have the “convenience” of doing it all yourself from the comfort of your home–meaning, sweat it out for hours on the computer and never know if you got a good deal really.
Well, today I was confronted with a complicated itinerary involving multiple countries over the next month and a friend recommended I visit with Melinda at Viajes Vertiz on Hidalgo. I took his advice and what a great experience.
She quickly nailed all the alternatives and then methodically worked the options until we had the best price and route, which happened to be WAY less than anything I had found and with a less hassle route. She made the reservations, gave me all the paperwork, and charged me something like $30.
Needless to say I will be back. Very happy to have this group on our team.
