San Mike is a new gastronomic concept that features three different levels, combining the new Mexican contemporary cuisine with a taquería in the first level; a piano bar in the second, and a terrace with one of the best views in San Miguel de Allende in the third, absolutely perfect for a romantic set up.
San Mike just recently opened its doors on December 1 in the most important tourist destination in the state of Guanajuato, renowned for its important gastronomic offer.
Located on Canal 18 in downtown San Miguel, San Mike was conceived to please fussy local foodies and tourists alike.
Antonio Marrón and Eduardo López Guerrero, partners and owners of the Cent’Anni restaurant, are the ones responsible for this new project that has everything to become one of the most visited restaurants in San Miguel de Allende.
“Finding authentic tacos al pastor in San Miguel de Allende is not as simple as in Mexico City” said Marrón. “, Al Pastor is the essence of the San Mike taqueria, as a first impression to our customers. But as you take a seat and ask for the menu, you will realize we have a remarkable variety of dishes and drinks”, he continued.
The three completely different sections of this new restaurant are its main attraction, as they offer totally different alternatives to satisfy different needs and tastes, under the same roof.
The ground floor, has the style of a Mexican restaurant; the second level is a more subtle space immeresed in twilight; and finally, on the terrace you can listen to music from different DJ’s, enjoy a special moment with that loved one, or simply chat with friends and have a drink in a very pleasant environment.

We stopped in for drinks and appetizers. The service was poor. The lobster and crab tacos contained an undetectable amount of either. The margaritas had but a whisper of alcohol, mostly mix and ice. 0 for 2 for this visit.
