    Contact Joey Merrifield directly as the whole referral process, logistics, pre-ops, emails etc goes much more smoothly than direct referrals when in most cases Dr. Berlanga ends up referring back to me and I need to play catch up –
    You can contact me at jmerrifi@gmail.com and I can answer any questions, send the English medical questionnaire, assist with arranging the consultation and any logistics incl transportation, pricing etc and if surgery is indicated – I arrange all his pre-op labs, chest X-ray and pre-op exam clearance for surgery.
    In addition, I field all emails so, Dr. Berlanga can do what he does best which is spend his time with patients and surgery. He is very kind, professional and skilled, speaks English fluently – he spends quality time with patients and does all of the post-operative care.
    We have a great system and we are a team – it works well
