Silvia Cadena, was known and beloved by all San Miguel de Allende residents as the the one person who could answer every question; the one to go to for solutions to any problem; the trusted source for a wide range of products and services that people in San Miguel need on a daily basis.
In her own words: “I´m Mexican, happy to have come to San Miguel. I love being part of this mixed community. My business is a services one. I love to be able to help and make life easier on those, every day, things,…I really try to make it as easy and safe as possible.”
And that she does, like no-one else. So if you find yourself in need of anything, call Silvia. If she can’t help you right away, she will find someone who can.
After Silvia’s passing her son Jeromino Cadena has continued to provide us with great service.

Maricela has the patience of a saint dealing with the multiple runarounds of the INM, we had to go back to the airport only to be told that INM in SMA already had the info that they said was only available at the airport INM and nobody at INM could be bothered to make a phone call in either direction.
Plus-one for Jeronimo and Marisela. They’ve helped us with many details over the years. They’re friendly, quick-to-respond and very fairly priced. They’re our go-to guys for anything that seems overly complicated which, with advancing years, seems to be just about everything!
Geronimo Cadena has helped me, with a rent issue , I will hopefully use him for my permanente status…
He has an ‘aura’ of goodness around him… Assuring.. no doubt he will carryon his Mothers( Silvia) goodness., and he has her knowledge,,,, Its a blessing, for us living here, and for the Hondurans!!
❤️ Vive Mexico!!!
I want to give a big thumbs up to Geronimo Cadena, now I see what everyone is always raving about, he is so wonderful! I have called him a number of times, because I am doing volunteer work with migrants and have needed information specific to their needs.
When he heard who it was for, he so kindly offered to do the work gratis. Recently, I bought a used food truck to make a tiny house for a family from Honduras. There were many issues and I really needed help.I really don’t know what I would have done if I had not had Geronimo to help me,
He really made the whole process so much smoother.
Again he refused payment in dedication to the cause, of the migrants.
THANK YOU SOO MUCH GERONIMO!!!!
I used Jeromino Cadena, 044-415-103-0560 to get my driver’s license. He made it so easy for me and never left my side. He’s a gem to all of us now that his mother, Silvia Cadena who was our greatest facilitator is gone, He worked with her for many years and carries on. He’s a wonderful facilitator for anything you need including helping you find the right car to buy. Maxine

I, also, very much appreciate the service that Jeronimo and his assistant, Maricela provided me. I had a bad experience with another person who provides these services.
Dealing with Jeronimo was easy, clear, and straight forward.
I’ve used Jeromino and Marisela for years thanks to dear Silvia Cadena. They are wonderful and have always gone the step further to help me. They are the best for any visa, auto find, driver’s llicense, seguro popular and much more. Most trustworthy. I wouldn’t use anyone else.
I second the praise for Silvia Cadena, she has helped me with the same issues plus the purchase of a MX plated car. I have also worked with her to provide adult diapers for the residents at Alma. At her expense of time and money she goes to Celaya to get them. We have probably all benefitted from her advice on this list which she also shares at no cost even when it is her livelihood. She is truly a sharp lovely and giving lady.

5 years ago, I came to San Miguel with paperwork given by the Mexican embassy in Sacramento. Silvia Cadena helped me obtain the visa within the allotted time and with a minimal amount of effort on my part. I needed proof of residency and photos and she did all the rest without a hitch. I think it cost about $4,000 mp. She has since helped me get my permanent residency visa, INAPAM, Seguro Popular and Mexican driver’s license. She and her staff are so helpful. They do all the running around and bring the documents to your home. Plus, she donates sooooo much to the community helping people and animals in need. And if you don’t speak English I strongly recommend you get professional help like Silvia. I feel privileged to know her.

We asked Silvia to help us on attaining Permanente status. From start to finish she worked us through the process with care and concern. She is a great resource. We got a recommendation from a friend who had used her services and I can only say that my friend underestimated here level of service. Her assistant Maricela is also a real resource. But she has also been a great resource for understand all things San Miguel.
