I have just begun the process to acquire a visa permanente with Ian Clement and feel confident that the process will go smoothly. He will help download all necessary documents and set me up for success when I have my appointment in Laredo.
We were fortunate enough to retain Ian Clement to help us in the firing of our maid. He handled everything from phoning her, talking with her and then to calculating the correct amount of termination pay and finally meeting with her to sign the “finiquito”. He made this easy for us and we were not put into an uncomfortable situation as Ian Clement handled the complete process with discretion and complete professionalism. It is a complicated process and the laws have to be followed to the letter so as to make sure that we weren’t liable after paying the severance.
We can highly recommend Ian Clement and believe whatever your legal situation calls for that he will give you correct advise and carry through to completion and to your satisfaction.

My experience with Ian Clement was wholly unsatisfactory. A straightforward legal matter went unresolved after far more than ample time, numerous unmet assurances and payment to him in full. After months of inaction the best option was to find other counsel.
