I wanted to share a lovely experience we had yesterday.

If you haven’t taken the Wine Tour and Tasting at Viñedos San Lucas, I recommend it. It was wonderful and educational.

I have been to other tastings but never where they explained in detail the whole process and then you have a wine tasting and pairing of cheeses, bread and fruits. The tour and tasting lasted about 75 minutes. It was guided by a lovely lady who clearly knew her stuff. This vineyard is only about 2 years old (so very young). They do have a restaurant there as well. We were the only ones in our tour group (3 of us and our guide) so very personal.

It cost 700 pesos a person (before I bought some of the wine to take home).

It is really a fun experience.

They are located off the road to Queretaro (past the Tuesday Market a ways).. Once at the entrance in is probably close to 2 kilometers more. You do need reservations for the wine tour.
The wine is called: La Santisima Trinidad
