Casa No Name is the only hotel in town considered World Heritage site by UNESCO thanks to its biblical fresco inspired in the Old Testament. This 6-bedroom luxury hotel was the residence of famous artist Deborah Turbeville, known for her works with Vogue.
At the heart of the historic center of San Miguel de Allende, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is the most intimate historic establishment dedicated to accommodating savvy and sophisticated travelers: Casa No Name; a cozy home where a secret preserved over 300 years opens its doors to you.
Casa No Name – beautiful, historic house (was a bishop’s home and has an underground passage to Las Monjas, up the street.)
It is elegantly restored, and has a mural worthy of the Prado.)
All precautions, and then some, observed.
The owner brings in meats and cheeses from Spain……. to give you some idea of the calibre of the food.
Now has Sunset Tea on Wednesdays from 4 to 7, upstairs at Olivia’s Bar, on the roof terrace.
(THIS is a ROOF TERRACE!) Quiet, intimate, landscaped, firepit, rugs, North African-Moroccan feel.Both Coco Chanel and Jacqueline Onassis stayed here, when Debra Turberville owned the house.
