    Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga
    In this class we practice most of the First Primary Series, covering through the different classes the full primary series.
    Yoga Chikitsa (योग चिकित्सा, Yoga Cikitsā) is the Sanksrit (संक्सृत्, Saṁksr̥t) name for the primary series and it can be translated as Yoga Therapy. Therefore this series purifies and heals the body.
    The first or primary series forms the basis for all subsequent series. Superficially seen it may seem the easiest of all six Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga series. It is however the most difficult one; it is the series first learnt by every Ashtanga-Yogi; this is where one becomes familiar with the Vinyasa System and gets used to everyday Yoga practice.
    A healing and intense practice, based on the marriage between breath and movement with the practice of ujjayi breath, bhandas (internal actions) and drishti (focus of the eyes).
    Ashtanga vinyasa yoga class is a non-competitive and mindful practice with attention and support. Class duration 90 min.

    Fundamentals of Ashtanga Yoga
    – Modified Primary Series
    The Fundamentals to Ashtanga Yoga Class is designed for students new to the Ashtanga practice or current students who want to refine their practice. The Fundamentals Class is a modified Primary Series sequence and provides guided instruction of the postures. The class maintains the flow, breath and meditation of the Ashtanga practice and includes the basic principles of Ashtanga: Ujjai breathing, bandas and drishti. The sanscrit names are used for poses so that students integrate the names as they learn the series. Every student who is mindful of their body’s needs and limitations is invited to take the class and participate at an appropriate level. Ashtanga yoga and this class are a non-competitive, relaxed and mindful practice. Class duration 75 min.

    Vinyasa
    In vinyasa yoga classes, students coordinate movement with breath to flow from one pose to the next; expanding and contracting, like ebb and flow, we vitalize, strengthen and fill ourselves with prana or life energy.
    This class is for everybody to experience and develop meditation in movement, strengthen and become light in our body- minds. Class duration: 75min.
