A Life, Death & Transition Doula is a non-medical, trained professional who provides companionship, comfort, and guidance to those going through life transitions, preparing for impending loss or for end-of-life planning, receiving a terminal diagnosis or living with chronic illness, impacted by sudden death, navigating grief, or facing imminent death. Doulas offer holistic support encompassing emotional, spiritual, and practical care, and offer resources that encourage informed decisions in a supportive environment.
Complement the care and support of family and friends, and of palliative and hospice professionals, by securing doula support to help prepare practicalities, ease anxiety, aid in comfort, and promote a personalized process.
