La Comer *Mega*

For quick, convenient grocery shopping, we go to La Comer – formerly Mega. They carry almost everything you would expect to see in a supermarket, from produce to canned and boxed foods, to spices, dairy products, fish and meats, etc.  (In addition to food, they also sell beer, wine and alcohol). The store is located on the south side of San Miguel, where Carretera a Celaya intersects with Libramiento Manuel Zavala. Because we love to walk, we usually walk to the store and take a cab home (there is a cab stand in front of the store).
