These are not European landscapes, far from it. They are the beautiful lavender fields that, with the arrival of the rainy season, bloom in select points of the country and offer beautiful views with intense purple and violet tones.

Live this incredible experience in any of the following destinations in Mexico, which offer the best postcards.

Lavender, an aromatic and medicinal plant
Lavender is a wild aromatic plant. It is endemic to the Mediterranean and blooms during the summer in dry meadows and undergrowth. It is violet in color and provides a visual spectacle, but the name gives us a clue to its uses: it comes from the Latin ‘lavandere’ (translated as to wash) and was so named thanks to its purifying properties.

It is often used as a sedative (reduces nervous tension, anxiety, and insomnia), and as a method to reduce inflammation and purify the urinary tract / gastrointestinal tract. In addition, it is an aperitif, digestive and its bouquets serve as natural flavoring. It can be used in infusions, liquid extracts, oils, creams, ointments, and even in different types of food.
