  • Our comprehensive scholarship program is not limited to simply covering some of the financial costs of higher education; it also focuses on providing our scholarship recipients with the tools and support necessary to reach their full potential. We know that English proficiency is one of those essential tools that can open doors and unlock invaluable opportunities in an increasingly globalized world.

That’s why in this newsletter we are pleased to highlight how our scholarship program, through our EFL Program, with valuable English Tutors, equips our students with the skills needed to succeed in a competitive world.

Read on for inspiring stories of how English proficiency has transformed the lives of our scholarship recipients, now graduates, and enabled them to reach new heights in their professional careers!

    Angeles in Pittsburgh

Her EFL Tutor, Sonia Rhea shared with us:

“I wanted to share some exciting news about Maria de Los Ángeles who is an employee of Grupo SSC in Mexico, which is a certified channel of Ansys, Inc in the U.S.

Her position is commercial sales operations coordinator and she is required to read, write and speak English on a daily basis. The U.S. parent company requested that she go to the U.S. for training, as they are looking to innovate their corporate communications process.

Just recently Ángeles was able to acquire a U.S. visa for 10 years for work and tourism. Once she had this visa she was ready to go to the U.S. for the first time for her work.

The experience of going to the U.S. for Ángeles was incredible. I believe it opened her eyes to many possibilities for her in her career, from the very beginning of this assignment of taking this training in Pittsburgh, PA.

I am so proud of Angeles. She is proof that doors open with speaking English. Angeles and I continue to meet weekly, either in person or via video call, to continue to accelerate her command of English. She is an amazingly, motivated young woman.”

We have at our door many future scholarship recipients who are on their way to a bright future, but need an extra push to reach their full potential.
At this moment, we are in the final Family Interview stage of our 2024 Bachelor’s Scholarship selection process; at the same time, we are selecting, from our own graduates, scholarship recipients for our new Master’s Program.

During these crucial interview stages, we not only evaluate academic performance and potential, but also consider determination and commitment to lifelong learning, key elements that guarantee future success.

In order for these talented and promising students to maximize their opportunities, they will need financial support.

    No one does it alone!

We invite you to be part of this mission to empower the next generation, to consider sponsoring one of our future scholarship recipients.
Your generosity will make a significant difference in their lives and in the future of our communities.
