Fundraising for authentic Green Burial in México

On Wednesday, May 18, 2022, Fundación EKR México Centro, with headquarters in San Miguel de Allende, was able to carry out the first authentically green burial in Mexico⁠—not counting the burials of our ancestors⁠— and make the last wish of Vicki Stehn (1940 – 2022) come true, which with her enthusiastic encouragement and determined permission we pledged to share. Vicki, friend and mentor, has left us with the commitment and responsibility to ensure that green burial is accessible to all across Mexico and leave a conscious, loving legacy for future generations.
