Write down and highlight the following dates on your calendar: May 26, 27, 28, and 29, four days in which the always effervescent San Miguel de Allende will receive the most outstanding national and international culinary figures. For the first time in its almost 10 years of existence, Millesime will extend its experiences beyond Mexico City, creating the Millesime GNP Weekend concept.

On April 6, Manuel Quintanero Jiménez, CEO of Milesime GNP and Estudio Millesime, announced that this new platform will be more social and open to the public, unlike the Mexico City edition, which is more corporate in nature. Of course, here is a glimpse of some of the events that will be part of it.

    Un jardín de las delicias

The main venue for Millesime GNP Weekend will be the Rosewood San Miguel de Allende hotel, where the Garden experience area will be set up. Under a tent of more than 1,800 m2 , you will be able to enjoy the creations of 12 renowned chefs, such as Vicente Torres and Mikel Alonso. In Garden, there will also be premium cocktails and gourmet product tastings, with an emphasis on local ingredients, distillates, and wines.

Also not to be missed at Millesime GNP Weekend are the Cenas de Altura, which will take place on May 26, 27, and 28. These experiences will begin at sunset with cocktails on the terrace of Rosewood San Miguel de Allende, after which they will give way to the Bulla restaurant. There, chef Pedro Martín will be joined by guests Gerardo Vázquez Lugo of Nico’s, Ricardo Sanz of Grupo Ricardo Sanz in Madrid, Rodolfo Guzmán of Borago in Santiago de Chile, and José del Castillo of Isolina restaurant in Lima. Each will delight participants with a six-course pairing dinner created for the occasion.

    Partiendo plaza

Finally, on Friday 26 and Saturday 27, the event will take place at the Plaza de Toros de San Miguel de Allende, one of the oldest bullrings in the country still standing. There, in the middle of the arena, chefs Drew Deckman and Marcelino Castro will be cooking on the embers. Whatever comes out of their grills can be accompanied by beers and wines in the middle of the square.

Can’t wait for Millesime GNP Weekend? When the date arrives, you can purchase your tickets online. The pre-sale will be available for American Express cardholders starting April 13 through Boletia’s website.
