5 San Miguel Restaurants Recognized by a Gastronomic Guide

The Secretary of Tourism of Guanajuato presented awards to 10 restaurants in Guanajuato for their contribution to gastronomy.

Five of these restaurants are in San Miguel de Allende.

In addition to the recognition they will be recommended in a specialized gastronomy guide dedicated to recommending places to visit in different destinations in Mexico.

Among those recognized are:

Áperi, Bovine, Marsala, Moxi and Trazo 1810, from San Miguel de Allende.

Casa Mercedes and El Jardín de los Milagros, from Guanajuato.

Bixa Cocina, from Irapuato; La Cocinoteca and Panchos Sea Food, from León.

In addition, Juan Emilio Villaseñor, from La Cocinoteca, was recognized among the five best chefs in the country.

“It was a year of a lot of learning, but we saw the most positive; we went back to the street to sell and we did well. I am very happy with my team, my people and my family, for the great support they have given me,” said during his citation, Emilio Villaseñor.
