The “Locos Parade returns to San Miguel de Allende” this 2022, the locos of San Pascual Bailón, will dance like never before in the streets of the city and mainly in the month of June when they lead the “convite” in honor of San Antonio de Padua. This is a traditional celebration that gathers families from San Miguel.
During the weekend, the person in charge of confirming the celebration was Mayor Mauricio Trejo himself, who shared the following post on his social networks:
“Traditions return to the streets, yesterday and today San José de la Montaña, Santo entierro returns, the locos and all those that make our town and our beliefs special, we must privilege our traditions!”.
When giving the green light the organizers of the different cadres that make up the convite said to their members: “We have to get together to coordinate such an important celebration, which includes from the allocation of costumes, materials, schedules for their elaboration, getting trucks, music, support partners, as well as the candy to be distributed during the parade.
Thus, by remaining in green light in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic, the celebration will be possible.
