As of this May, the works on the La Cieneguita bridge in the municipality of San Miguel de Allende will continue for the last stage, with the objective of finishing it in the last days of August.
The works had been paused in advance because the water level did not allow them to continue due to the release of water from the dam and the atypical rains.
It should be remembered that Governor Diego Sinhue Rodríguez Vallejo announced the work during the administration of former President Luis Alberto Villarreal. The objective was to deliver it in 2021, but due to adversities, it will be the turn of Mayor Mauricio Trejo to inaugurate it.
So far, the work on the Cieneguita Bridge is 86.59% complete.
An intermediate pier with two spans and the bidding process is still needed, but it can already be seen that it has been painted, and has signage, ironwork, and lighting. It is estimated that this last part will take approximately 4 months.
