Tourist van is hit by train; Red Cross attends to 17 injured people

Seventeen people aboard a tourist van were injured at the crossing of the train tracks at Calzada La Estación.

Three Red Cross ambulances, a rescue unit and nine elements arrived at the scene to attend to the injured.

The unit belongs to the company Panoramic Travels from the city of Guanajuato.

Six of the injured were taken to the hospital and the others were treated at the scene as they did not present serious injuries.
