The girl and the butler, the ghosts of the Hotel Sierra Nevada in San Miguel de Allende

Legend has it that… in one of the many buildings in Guanajuato, called Hotel Sierra Nevada, a couple of ghosts appear and constantly haunt visitors.

Grandparents used to say that old and historical places keep energies from the beyond, energies that belong to people who became evil beings, or who simply have not been able to rest.

An example of this is the Hotel Sierra Nevada; a luxurious and modern place that has become a favorite among tourists, which, besides being located in one of the most historic municipalities such as San Miguel de Allende, is a group of old residences dating from the seventeenth century, which house hundreds and hundreds of objects almost as old as it; but not only that but the ghosts of a man and a little girl are also found there.

On the one hand, an old butler wrapped in a dress from the last century usually approaches people and interacts with them, who, despite the unpleasant smell he gives off when passing by, realize that it is a spectral being until several minutes later.

And although these apparitions are creepy, it does not end there, because it is also said that a mysterious girl, whose story is unknown, wanders alone through the gardens and corridors of the hotel, causing a scare to all those who see her.

However, this is not the only hotel in this entity in which the presence of beings from beyond has been reported, since it is said that after a murder occurred at the Castillo Santa Cecilia Hotel, located in Guanajuato Capital, to this day shadows and specters appear on the site, which during the nights have been observed by several guests.

They also report that, in addition to hearing creepy noises, they sometimes feel an intense cold, and have even found crosses on doors and windows made with oil.
