Teatro Santa will be one of the venues for Festival de las Artes 2022

From August 11 to 21, San Miguel de Allende will host the first edition of the Festival de las Artes (FASMA), a cultural event that this time will have Germany as its guest country.

This first edition of FASMA, organized by Casa Europa Mexico, has been joined by more than 25 organizations and cultural associations of the city to present around 70 events of music, theater, film, dance, literature, and other expressions of the arts that, throughout the ten days of the festival, will occupy the consolidated cultural venues and public squares.

One of these venues will be the Santa Ana Theater of the Public Library where concerts of trova, guitar, Latin American music, clay, painting and writing workshops, storytelling, and plays will be presented.

In upcoming activities and on the sidelines of the festival, at the Teatro Santa Ana, this Friday, August 5 at 6 pm will be presented the adaptation of a literary work called “La Chica con el Arete de Perla”, and on Saturday, August 6 at a matinee at 11.30 am will be screened “La Telaraña de Charolotte” (Charolotte’s Web).
