San Miguel receives even more COLOR!

The Municipal Administration is improving its urban image by adding color to San Miguel de Allende.
Materializing the vision of the municipal president Mauricio Trejo, the Directorate of Welfare and Social Development began the social program Mi Colonia a Color, which is improving the appearance of San Miguel homes.
One of the primary actions generated by the Municipality is to provide support to neighborhoods and rural communities, which are favored with this social program that make the Municipality a reality in conjunction with the State Government, by painting facades, thus improving the urban image of this city, in order to increase the value of your home and preserve the colonial urban landscape that distinguishes San Miguel in the world and it is fundamental to be an example as a World Heritage City.
Mi Colonia a Color benefited more than 1,300 families in practically the entire municipal territory, directly impacting more than 6,000 sanmiguelenses.
This program will impact 21 neighborhoods in the urban area: Mexiquito, Infonavit Allende, Independencia, Olimpo, Infonavit Malanquín, Allende, Nuevo Pantoja, San Miguel Tres Cruces, San Luis Rey, San Antonio, Palmita de Landeta, La Lomita subdivision, Francisco Villa, Bellavista, Insurgentes, Montes de Loreto, Santa Cecilia, San Rafael, Santa Julia, La Parroquia subdivision and Jardines I subdivision; and in 7 communities: Sosnábar, Biznaga de Jaral, Jalpa, La Talega, San Martín del Paredón, Corral de Piedras de Arriba, and Calderón.
Mi colonia a color also strengthened the economy of the sanmiguelenses, being a free program with the purpose of improving the quality of life and the environment of the families sanmiguelenses.
Generating better living conditions for its inhabitants, the Municipal Administration continues to strengthen the families of San Miguel de Allende, so that their heritage is better every day.
