The neighbors of 5 de Mayo street accepted that this week they will begin to open their street where they will put hydraulic concrete, change the sidewalks and garrisons, put signs, lighting and with it, the new sanitary and potable water networks.
The work will pass next to De Las Moras Street, where the neighbors took legal action to prevent the connection of the drainage and hydraulic pipes of the new subdivisions in the upper part of San Miguel de Allende.
And according to the bulletin, the Municipality arrived with officials of the government of Luis Alberto Villarreal to see the neighbors of the Allende neighborhood, they presented the project and the neighbors accepted it and convinced them to choose the project together, their new stamped hydraulic concrete.
In the bulletin they share that neighbors from 5 de Mayo, 16 de Septiembre, Moras, Prolongación Aldama and Prolongación 5 de Mayo streets participated.
“The idea is to bring a benefit to the city and, in particular, to all those who live in this area of impact of this work that is deserved and that for a long time was being requested and that also is going to be paid with municipal resources derived from the urban impact,” said Villarreal.
The street will no longer be made of ball stone drowned in cement but of stamped concrete (as in Guadalupe Avenue).
There are more than 8 thousand square meters to be intervened and it is expected to be finished between May 5 and 10 and the neighbors will choose whether to intervene upwards or downwards first.
