Promised Silao- San Migue de Allende highway to be put out to bid by the end of 2023: SICOM

Silao and San Miguel de Allende will be connected by a straight road, which will save 35 minutes for those who use the already announced and expected highway.

Tarcisio Rodriguez, head of SICOM, said in an interview with the State Government television station, that this project is already 95 percent complete in technical matters, so it is expected that in the second half of the year, the project and the executive route through which the highway will pass will be ready.

He said that there are great possibilities that by the end of 2023, the bidding process for the concession of the work will be launched and then the amount of private investment to be made will be specified.

This highway will connect with the already promised Libertad Boulevard, so named by officials of the government of Diego Sinhué, and the now former mayor of SMA, Luis Alberto Villarreal, and Miguel Ángel Rayas, former municipal president of Dolores Hidalgo.

The official said that Liberty Boulevard will begin in the coming weeks and that the work will have a state investment of 2.5 billion pesos.
