Once again! No parade of the Loco’s

For the second consecutive year the ‘Desfile de Locos’ was cancelled, but there will be an event that citizens will be able to follow from home; the transmission will begin at 12:00 pm this Sunday, June 13, through the social networks of the Directorate of Culture and Traditions and Municipal Government.

The cancellation is again due to the health contingency for Covid-19, however, this initiative aims to preserve tradition with the participation of the popular cuadro de locos: Cuadro del Tecolote, Cuadro Antiguo, Cuadro del Parque and Cuadro Nuevo.

Part of the activities of this special program will also be a pyromusical in the esplanade of the San Antonio Parish, after the evening Eucharistic celebration; the Direction of Culture and Traditions invites the families of San Miguel to enjoy it from their rooftops and terraces or by live transmission without leaving their homes.

The ‘Parade of the Loco’s’ is one of the traditions that draws a crowd of about 20 thousand people in costume and 80 thousand spectators.
