Italian auto parts company to arrive in San Miguel de Allende

This Tuesday, the governor of Guanajuato, Diego Sinhue Rodríguez Vallejo, announced the investment of 130 million pesos for the state, after finalizing the arrival of the Italian company PROMA to San Miguel de Allende.
The company, headquartered in San Nicola la Strada, Italy, manufactures battery boxes for electric cars, seat structures for brands such as Chrysler, Volkswagen, Ford, Renault, among others. It has more than 3,300 employees worldwide and more than 1,500 robots in its production processes.
According to Diego Sinhue, the company’s project will generate more than 250 direct and indirect jobs, in the initial development of 5,000 square meters in its first stage, until reaching 15,000 square meters.
Its location, according to the company’s official website, will be in Parque Empresarial San Miguel de Allende, Calle Los Picachos.
“The management team of #PROMA recognized that Guanajuato has the technology and innovation ecosystem for the company’s operation,” the governor of Guanajuato published.
