With this campus the municipality of San Miguel de Allende is positioned as a city for local and regional educational development, as it will receive students from the surrounding municipalities so that they can pursue their bachelor’s degree in one of the best schools in the country, said the governor of Guanajuato, Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo in his participation.
“I am very happy because this campus is not only for San Miguel de Allende because it will support the northeast, one of the areas that require more momentum and require more development in our state because San Miguel de Allende is a beacon here we have very close communities, Doctor Mora, San Luis de la Paz, San Jose Iturbide, Victoria, Tierra Blanca, Santa Catarina that will benefit,” he said.
For this great work, the municipality provided all the facilities for its construction, since the vision of the UNAM in San Miguel de Allende began more than 10 years ago when Mauricio Trejo was mayor for the first time, and until these days, they have supported with municipal resources such as machinery and mobility improvements for access, with the aim of promoting education, and thus promoting educational infrastructure. The Municipal Administration continues working to offer more and better opportunities so that young people have decent spaces to pursue a career that gives them a projection of life that is better every day.
“It gives me pleasure to see a San Miguel de Allende that is better every day and today, today is a special day without a doubt. Starting today there is another San Miguel de Allende because the young people who represent all those young Sanmiguelenses have this great option to shine and become great professionals,” said Mauricio Trejo, municipal president of San Miguel de Allende.
