First stage of the sports park in San Miguel is ready

The first stage of what will be a sports park in Fraccionamiento Esmeralda has been opened, and it was announced that work is already underway on the second part of the project.

“I want to thank you for your trust, and for your participation, because if it were not for your participation this would not be possible. It does make me a little sad to come to inaugurate a court that today, due to sanitary circumstances, we cannot use,” said Mayor Luis Alberto Villarreal García during the inauguration.

This first stage of the garden consisted of the construction of a 5-a-side soccer field, measuring 30 meters long by 15 meters wide. In addition, the sports space was equipped with synthetic grass, a set of goals with net, perimeter cyclone mesh, foundation walls and installation of bleachers.

The municipal government allocated 863,84 thousand pesos for this work, and through the Renewed Action Program (PAR), the neighbors participated with the labor.

“Thank you, neighbors, for joining us in this new field that we wanted so much for the youth and children. Here we thank Luis Alberto Villarreal for working with us.” said Josefina Sánchez, a member of the construction committee.

Finally, the president informed that the public debt that had been carried over from 2008 was now paid off.
