Feria de la Candelaria is ready!

The Feria de la Candelaria, known as the “Feria de las Flores” is one of the most deeply rooted traditions in San Miguel de Allende, which will take place from February 1 to 14. This colorful fair consists of the exhibition and sale of seeds and all kinds of plants, especially floral plants.

This year more than a hundred flower growers and nurserymen, both local and from different states of the country, come to this place, who will give you the best tips to take care of your plants.

This celebration has its origins in pre-Hispanic times, and it is also customary for different groups of concheros, belonging to the native peoples, to arrive on the day of Candlemas to hold a vigil.

You can also enjoy shows and concerts of jazz, Cuban music, boleros, swing, puppet shows, circus art, flamenco as well as environmental education workshops.

And to nourish the soul, there will also be some wellness activities, such as yoga and sound meditation.
