Father Armando Flores arrives to administer the Parish of San Miguel Arcángel

Yesterday afternoon the new pastor of the church of San Miguel de Allende, Father Armando Flores Rodriguez, arrived in San Miguel de Allende.

With colorful balloons, a mariachi band, mariachi, and the emblematic stars of the dawn, the parishioners were waiting for him at Juarez Park and from there, they made a small pilgrimage with him to the downtown parish where he was received by the parish priest Father Jose Manuel Briones Padron.

Bishop Victor Alejandro Aguilar Ledesma presided at the Mass of his inauguration, which was attended by priests from other parishes and congregations of the town.

In the last 4 years, Father Armando Flores Rodriguez offered his pastoral services in the Parish of the Sacred Heart, in the municipality of Apaseo el Alto, Guanajuato, to that city he arrived on January 16, 2018.

Now he has been called to represent the parish of San Miguel Arcángel in San Miguel de Allende. He began his pastoral and administrative duties this Monday, August 22, 2022, in the house of the patron saint.
