El Nigromante Cultural Center’s 60th Anniversary

Laura Bustos Cardona, invites you to participate in the different activities that will be held at the Ignacio Ramírez Cultural Center “El Nigromante”, on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of this cultural space.

The exact day of the anniversary is August 17, so from this week there are scheduled events: this Wednesday, August 3 at 5 pm the conference “The conscious musician: Dialectic of the mind, emotions and body in instrumental performance” will be presented; this will be taught by Paulina Derbez.

On Thursday, August 4, there will be a concert with guitarist and teacher Miguel Ángel Omaña. On Saturday, August 6, at 7 pm Paulina Derbez and Araceli Salazar will give a violin and piano concert.

From August 9 to 12, there will be a workshop for children from communities, about literary creation and approach to letters.

The closing will be on August 14 with a parade of commemorative mojigangas, created by Hermes Arroyo: characters such as Miguel Malo, Ignacio Ramírez El Nigromante, Felipe Cosío del Pomar, David Alfaro Siqueiros, among others, will lead this parade.
