Disney+ shoots series in the Magical Town of Peña de Bernal

The Magical Town of Peña de Bernal will be the location for a Disney series entitled The Secret Score: The Lead Enigma.

This place in Querétaro will be part of 2 of the 8 chapters that make up the new production of the American company.

The Director of Tourism of Ezequiel Montes, Martin Zambrano Aguilera, said that filming began on Monday, April 25; it is contemplated that filming will last 5 days.

The staff is made up of 230 people who arrived at the Magical Town and have used the streets, hotels, highway, and the slopes of the emblematic Peña de Bernal for the filming.

This Disney project adds to the tourist promotion of the place, in addition to generating an economic benefit of approximately 3 million pesos.

The Disney staff rented 116 rooms for four nights, consumed local businesses, and promoted the Magic Town as a tourist attraction.

“The Secret Score: The Enigma of Lead,” tells the story of Maya, a 16-year-old girl who enrolls in a prestigious conservatory in search of answers to the enigmatic disappearance of her boyfriend Leo, a student at the renowned music school.

Together with a group of her classmates, Maya discovers an intriguing score that, when performed, grants them strange powers. They will try to keep the discovery a secret, unaware that danger awaits them because someone else at the conservatory is looking for the score and has dark intentions.
