With 8 votes, Cabildo approves hotel and party hall in ecological zone of Montecillo de Milpa

With the votes of the PAN councilmen, Cristóbal Careca of Morena and Humberto Campos of the Alianza to change the use of land to convert an ecological development zone into a commercial zone, where they have already approved the first hotel and party hall.

The place: Montecillo de Milpas, a community near the Laja River in which citizens live who care for and preserve the area for the tranquility and beauty of the place. Several citizens went to live there to get away from the noise and the music of the bars and to enjoy, live and take care of the nature of the place.

Yesterday, the Cabildo headed by the interim Gonzalo Gonzalez with the aldermen of the PAN, the Alianza and one of Morena, approved VIOLATING their own Municipal Urban Development Program that just in 2019 made official by allowing that in a zone of ecological preservation, which means that high impact businesses are NOT ALLOWED, today has a High Impact business.

The approved business is a hotel that according to its social networks, has been operating since March 2019 (2 years and 3 months ), although in the “official” it says it has just 18 months in operation.

After 29 months, Civil Protection, Urban Development, Environment and Public Safety, granted him the permits “to work” a business that has been working for years.

Francisco Peyret, says that the hotel approved by the PAN, Alianza and Olvera of Morena, cannot make noise, or put lights or pollute with straws and cups, but does not speak of the “robbery of La Paz” that he approved for the area.
