Better Than Ever: The Biblioteca House & Garden Tour

The Biblioteca House & Garden Tours have a new, upgraded portfolio of private homes. The specially curated homes range from casitas to mansions, and from the early 18th century to cutting-edge modern. All have breathtaking views. Guest donations of 500 pesos per person are helping continue worthwhile library programs. Advance ticket sales are available in the Biblioteca book shop on Calle Insurgentes #25. Tours begin Fridays at 12pm at a designated meeting point. Please support your Biblioteca by signing up for the House & Garden Tour and in doing so help promote literacy in our community.

Homeowners generously permit the Biblioteca to offer these private tours. In recent weeks, we have had the good fortune to tour homes that have been professionally decorated by well-known interior designer Kathy Leutzinger. Since 2003 Kathy has been designing what can only be described as residential works of art for appreciative clients. Her versatile style runs the gamut of refined taste and sophistication. She treats clients’ possessions as treasures and has unbounded talent for transforming the clients’ dream into reality. Her boutique Casa Katalina at Hospicio 37 displays an ever-changing collection of custom-made jewelry, home decor accessories, and vintage Mexican collectables.
