50 reports of excessive noise during the weekend

During the weekend, the Environment and Sustainability Department received 50 reports of establishments that exceeded the noise emission limits established in its regulations, which led to the suspension of their activities.

Between Friday and Sunday, the sites reported were Bar Gamma (Zacateros No. 73, Centro), Casa Quiote (Hernández Macías, No. 117, Centro), Duke (Mesones No. 99, Centro), Hotel María (Nemesio Diez, Centro) and a temporary lodging house on Plateros No. 15, Fraccionamiento Villa de Los Frailes; it is worth mentioning that, for repeat offenses, they may be subject to fines in excess of 20 thousand pesos.

The Environment and Sustainability Department has inspectors on duty 24 hours a day to monitor and supervise sites with noise emissions, in addition to responding to complaints received through 911 (by telephone), by written media, and digitally through social networks.
