In an atmosphere of popular celebration and continuing with a policy of social justice, the Government of San Miguel celebrated the 113th anniversary of the Mexican Revolution. With the characteristic parade and the traditional race, San Miguel celebrated another year of the revolutionary movement.

With joint work between the Directorates of Culture and Traditions with the Municipal Sports Commission (Comude), the Government of San Miguel headed by President Mauricio Trejo organized this program of activities that began very early with the iconic traditional sports parade and closed at afternoon with the 47th edition of the “Race of the Revolution”.

Touring the main streets of this World Heritage city, the sports parade opened the celebration, with the participation of more than 30 public and private institutions from primary, secondary, high school and university, as well as personnel from the Secretariat of Citizen Security ( SSC) and other social associations, with a total of more than 3,500 participants including students, teachers and promoters of civil associations, who received the applause of more than *9 thousand* attendees who took to the main streets and the historic center.

On the other hand, Comude brought with it the 47th edition of the “Race of the Revolution”, which began in the emblematic Sanctuary of Atotonilco and culminated in the Main Garden, where the number of participants was more than 400 athletes, the vast majority sanmiguelenses.

Regarding the protection and care of citizens, the Secretary of Citizen Security (SSC) reported that during the parade there was a “White Balance” as there were no cases of relevant antisocial behavior.

This continues to respond to the indication by municipal president Mauricio Trejo, to offer San Miguel residents and visitors, commemorative events that highlight the quality of events organized by the Best Small City in the World. Being an example of organization and quality, the Government of San Miguel continues working to demonstrate that the traditions in San Miguel de Allende are lived better every day.
