We would like to invite you to our monthly cheese tasting at Luna de Queso. This month, we have Quesos Las Luciérnagas as our guest. Tere and Pablo are two people who are passionate about their work. They are mindful of the feeding processes of their sheep because they want to take care of every detail of their cheeses starting with the milk. Their goal is to live in harmony with the land to receive healthy food from it, and in the same sense, to give gratitude back to the field that gives life. They have a very inspiring life story that you will want to hear!
Amid guitar music, each melody will be tailored to each cheese and wine. You will taste cheeses with incredible personality and quality.
For the wines, we will have Disruptivo. Sommelier Arael will share his extensive knowledge of old-world wines, guiding us on a journey through Italy, its grapes, and its most representative regions

At Luna de Queso we are passionate about cheese and food. That’s why we have created a space for people who like to eat well and cook. We are committed to seeking out and promoting the best local and artisanal products in Mexico. As our name suggests, we are cheese specialists. We are on the cusp of becoming one of the country’s best known cheese vendors. It’s not surprising then, that in our shop, you will find over 80 types of local, national and European cheeses. At our Café, you can enjoy our delicious coffee, from beans grown in cooperatives in Chiapas or Veracruz. Our fresh juices are prepared to order and accompanied by a selection of sandwiches, quiches, salads and delicious homemade pastries. Everything is ready to take out and enjoy at home or in the office.
Luna de Queso is San Miguel’s only gourmet deli. You will find all kinds of artesanal and imported cheeses, sauces, dressings, oils, hard to find gourmet spices and packaged goods, in addition to high quality deli meats. Luna de Queso is a foodie’s heaven. They also sell prepared sandwiches either to go or to eat at one of 4 tables on their covered front porch.   They can also make cheese and/or meat platters for gatherings at home. Luna de Queso is a short walk (less than 10 minutes) from Casa GGG.
Open Monday through Friday 9 am. – 7 pm., Saturday 10 am. – 5 pm., closed Sundays. New 2nd Location – Jusus 2 in Centro Marianna’s the girl in the moon and runs a great deli type eatery and grocery store. They carry a vast array of, what else? cheeses, plus! Mariana, long-time amiga and a one time art student at Instituto Allende, some time ago, now show cases her artistic side as a restauranteur and cheese shop owner
