Tradicional Corrida de Fin de Año/New Year’s Eve Bullfight [] Plaza de Toros San Miguel

La Casa de Cultura de San Miguel de Allende acogió la presentación oficial del cartel de la tradicional corrida de Fin de Año en la Plaza de Toros Oriente. El festejo, que tendrá lugar el próximo 31 de diciembre a las 16:30 horas, supondrá el regreso a este coso de Diego Ventura, máxima figura del rejoneo, acompañado de los toreros mexicanos Francisco Martínez y Arturo Gilio. La corrida reseñada pertenece al hierro de Xajay.
El empresario José Luis Alatorre agradeció a las autoridades su apoyo durante este año para que la plaza de toros que gestiona haya vuelto a cobrar vida, y cuyo colofón será este magnífico cartel de talla internacional. Además, Alatorre señaló que en 2023 continuarán con ‘el compromiso de seguir dando toros en San Miguel de Allende buscando siempre un equilibrio en los carteles con toreros consagrados y dando oportunidades a los más jóvenes’, además de tratar impulsar la celebración de novilladas.
Francisco Martínez afirmó estar muy agradecido con la empresa de ser tenido en cuenta para este cartel, siendo un gran compromiso al ser el torero de la tierra y alternar con el maestro Diego Ventura y con Arturo Gilio. ‘Seguro que la gente saldrá contenta. Por mi parte habrá entrega, variedad y actitud, pero ahora todo con más rodaje y madurez’, finalizó el torero mexicano.
Por su parte, Arturo Gilio comentó estar muy contento de poder regresar a San Miguel de Allende para hacer su presentación como matador de toros, recordando que hace algunos años alternó con Francisco Martínez aún como novilleros.
