On May 13th, 1917, Our Lady of the Holy Rosary of Fatima appeared to three shepherd children in Fatima, Portugal. Our Lady asked for prayers to console Jesus for the sins of the world. For the third consecutive year, Catholics throughout the world are participating in a recitation of the Holy Rosary on Thursday, May 13th.

We are  praying for the protection of the Immaculate Heart of Mary and her intercession for the sanctity of the Catholic Church, for an end to the pandemic, for Covid-19 patients, for the deceased and their families and for peace and freedom for all countries.

We encourage your participation. Our parish, both Mexicanos and English-speakers will meet to recite the rosary on Thursday, May 13th at 6:30 PM directly outside Templo San Juan de Dios,  San Antonio Abad and San Pedro, Centro. Please consider joining us in prayer.

The English-speaking Catholics whose home is San Juan de Dios church are a small but close-knit and growing community. We are always pleased and happy to welcome visitors and new residents of San Miguel to join us at Mass.
