Andrew Osta Art Closing
Bordello Galeria“Thrill and Nostalgia”
New Artwork by Andrew OstaJanuary 11
5 to 8:00 pm
If you’ve missed the opening of Andrew Osta’s fabulous show at the Bordello Gallery last December, be sure to come to the closing! The Gallery located in centro on Organos 19 (Casa de la Noche) has long been one of my favorite venues to see artwork by the best local and international artists, painstakingly curated by owner Barbara Poole.
When Andrew Osta began painting in 2005, he knew nothing about the art world, but through hard work and persistence, obtained a gallery show and a radio interview within a year of picking up a paintbrush. 14 years later, painting remains his passion. He loses himself in his work, allowing a dreamlike symbolism to emerge in the process. His intensity is clearly evident in his work and is appreciated by his collectors.
Saturday January 11, 5 to 8pm will be the last day to see and purchase fantastic works of art by this highly acclaimed artist, and for tourists, the space itself is worth seeing. What presently functions as a boutique hotel and gallery was an actual bordelo about a century ago. There are still photos of some of the working girls on one of the walls.
For a private viewing, the artist can be reached through www.AndrewOsta.com or by phone at 415 139 5169

OUR FAVORITE ARTIST IN SMA!
We discovered Andrew many years ago at an art fair. The first time my husband and I saw his work, we just fell in love with everything he does. We’ve been collectors ever since, about 7 or 8 years now. Really excited about this show!
