Yaya Fuentes gives a unique vocal and instrumental concert “Cantos para el Alma” (Songs for the Soul).
Cantos para el Alma is a musical intervention through various live instruments, native languages from diverse cultures and a poetic and social lyric.
This encounter is marked by a beautiful emotional charge due to the connection that the artist achieves with the audience.
The concert will feature visuals, as well as the lyrics of the songs translated into Spanish and English.
Yaya Fuentes Project
Chilean, born in the city of Concepción, creator of an interesting Universe through her unitary and collective work, based on 20 years of traveling around the world. She plays the Hang, a Swiss instrument created in 2000 and several unconventional instruments such as the Gopichand (India) and Arpas de Boca (Mapuche, Vietnamese) with a peculiar style, with songs in Native Languages of the World.
Her work becomes extensive and becomes a space for the Socio/Humanitarian Denouncement of the requirements of Mapuche Communities, natives of the world, children at risk, spirituality in the broad sense of the word (not religion) and Humanitarian Education.
