In ways I’m sure us gringos may never fully appreciate, this shutdown period has been really tough on local Mexican businesses here in San Miguel.  While some are still shut down, the restaurants are now being allowed to open at reduced capacity and only after obtaining a City health certificate that has many requirements to protect the customers and staff.

We’ve all enjoyed seeing live shows in years past at Paprika but they, like so many others, have really taken a hit with the lost income during the shutdown.  So some of us musicians have organized a weekend of benefit shows to help them a bit to get flush and back on their feet.

 These shows are happening at Paprika on 2 days, Saturday July 4 & Sunday July 5, from 2-4pm each day.  Seating is very limited, because of the need to have proper distancing between the tables, and so please call 415-152-4373 for reservations (or WhatsApp at 415-124-2338).  Cover charge is 200 pesos, with all of that going to Paprika…….the musicians are donating their time and talents to help out one of the main music venues here in town.

Fran and her staff will be rigorously following all City requirements to keep you safe, and will also be debuting new vegan options on their menu.
