Tunki is the name of the official bird of Peru, ideal name to represent the fusion of Mexican and Peruvian cuisine that we find on the menu. The dishes have influences from areas of the coast, the jungle and the highlands mixing different but authentic flavors of both cultures. Here we find exclusive and innovative cocktails, authentic Peruvian dishes and stunning views of this city, recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Handshake Speakeasy Handshake Speakeasy has a concept that pays homage to the Mexican bar community of the resistance era in an intimate and genuine atmosphere. His clients are a new generation of lovers of both classic and avant-garde mixology. That’s why they put their own spin on certain recipes: add buttered mushrooms to an Old Fashioned or add mole and sesame to a Michter’s Manhattan. What to try at Tunki Rooftop? Peruvian food at Tunki Rooftop We recommend you try the Nikkei tiradito with catch of the day, creamy avocado, wakame, sesame, tapioca crackling and squid ink, chili pepper and tiger milk. Also the Amazonian ceviche with catch of the day, lychee, avocado, tiger milk with coconut aroma. From having the Jasmine cocktail with pisco, jasmine, lemon and soda tea and the Cariño with Bacardi 8, yellow Chartreuse, vanilla, lemon and Greek yogurt. Finish with something sweet like the suspiro limeño with hints of pisco or the mazamorra brulée.
