He currently teaches Spanish, English and music classes. He taught various grades in a bilingual elementary school for over 12 years, and made a point of getting out the guitar and singing with the kids almost every day. He has sung and played clarinet and guitar in various groups in Oregon and in San Miguel, and he is presently organizing a concert of Jewish music spiced with latin touches.
