The Casa Nostra Experience
Casa Nostra is a new sensual experience where we would like to invite you and open the doors of our home. The concept is to offer culinary, art, and design emotions in a classy and cozy environment.
Our roots and our experiences define our offering
Even though we fell in love in Cambridge, England some 30 yrs. ago, reunited after and Odyssey half a decade ago in New York, our roots are still in Europe and Mexico. The ingredients, together with Cristina’s Food Science and long experience in food and beverage business and Marco’s passion for cooking and collecting wines, together with a spoonful of traveling, helped us create a fine range of delicious recipes we have experienced through out the world.
Our Credo
Our Credo is to share international gourmet recipes, wines and mixology made freshly prepared, leveraging local and organic ingredients. We believe in supporting local businesses and giving back to the community.
Giving back to the community and Fighting Food Waste
We have been supporting several non profit organizations in Queretaro and the US, that work with Children with Special Needs. Among them CALI, an amazing institution helping down syndrome students achieve and independent life. We will organize special events in favor of CALI and other NGOs where all profits from this events will be donated to such organizations. Additionally we are initiating a “Stop Food Waste and Feed Local Community Initiative” sharing food to people in need.
Globalphile Opened in February, 2018, this is a wonderful addition to the dining scene for Mediterranean cuisine. It is located at Terraplen #8, south of the Jardin and north of Parque Juarez. It has a small indoor dining room, but has two outdoor terraces upstairs. The top terrace is perfect for views of the sunsets over the distant mountains, the flowering jacaranda trees in the spring and of the churches of San Miguel. I was very impressed with the passion of chef/owner Marco Massarotti and the wonderful menu he has created. It features a large number of tapas, salads, risottos and pastas plus entrees of fish, chicken and veal. In the colder months, you might enjoy cheese fondue, raclette and chocolate fondue for dessert. There is also an extensive menu of cocktails and wines. I loved the pistachio crusted tuna, and the lobster ravioli special. I can’t wait to go back for another great experience.
