Adaptation of the black novel The great Mortdecai Mustache Mystery.
Charles Mortdecai is a distinguished art dealer known for his knavery, skill, and glibness in the world of sales. With the help of his elegant appearance and his innate talent for attracting clients, he will start a journey to get hold of a highly prized stolen work of art, not so much for its artistic value, but for the legend it arouses. Rumors say that the painting hides the secret number to access a bank account that contains a large sum of money and that belonged to the Nazi army. Getting hold of the precious treasure will not be as easy as Mortdecai thought, because along the way he will come across a team of Russians, an international terrorist, MI5 himself and the greatest danger, his wife.

Charles Mortdecai es un distinguido comerciante de arte caracterizado por su bribonería, destreza y labia en el mundo de las ventas. Con la ayuda de su elegante apariencia y su talento innato para captar clientes, iniciará una andadura por hacerse con una obra de arte robada muy preciada, no tanto por su valor artístico, sino por la leyenda que suscita. Los rumores cuentan que la pintura esconde el número secreto para poder acceder a una cuenta bancaria que contiene una gran suma de dinero y que pertenecía al ejército nazi. Hacerse con el preciado tesoro no será tan fácil como Mortdecai pensaba, pues en el camino se las verá con un equipo de rusos, un terrorista internacional, el mismísimo MI5 y el mayor de los peligros, su esposa.
