In 1943 Genoa, Grimaldi is a swindler pretending to be a colonel in the Italian army to get money from the family of people put into jail by the Nazis. Once caught, the Gestapo makes a deal with him: he will stay alive if he impersonates General Della Rovere, a leader of the Resistance who has just been shot by the Nazis, to be put into a political jail where he is supposed to identify another Resistance leader. Following the film there will be a film analysis and discussion with independent filmmaker and scholar Elías Nahmías who has studied and worked in every aspect of filmmaking for 40 years.

En la Génova de 1943, Grimaldi es un estafador que se hace pasar por coronel del ejército italiano para conseguir dinero de la familia de los encarcelados por los nazis. Una vez atrapado, la Gestapo hace un trato con él: seguirá vivo si se hace pasar por el general Della Rovere, un líder de la Resistencia que acaba de ser fusilado por los nazis, para ser encarcelado en una prisión política donde se supone que identificará a otro líder de la Resistencia. Tras la película habrá un análisis de la misma y un debate con el cineasta independiente y académico Elías Nahmías, que ha estudiado y trabajado en todos los aspectos del cine durante 40 años.
