Film: A Christmas with the Muppets [] Teatro Santa Ana at La Biblioteca

This is an adaptation to the world of Jim Henson’s popular Muppets, from Charles Dickens’ classic, ‘A Christmas Carol’. The version has as a prominent performer Michael Caine, who plays Ebenezer Scrooge. The greedy and unbridled old man Scrooge is visited by the ghosts of the past, present and future to show him the consequences of his actions. The teachings of these spirits allow the stingy old man to become aware of his petty and selfish behavior and to embark on the path of redemption. To this end contributes his encounter with the kind Bob Cratchit -role reserved for the Frog René- and his family, which allows him to reconcile with himself and enjoy the holidays. In this version of the quintessential Christmas story, the little pig Peggy is Emily Cratchit and Gonzo, a furry Dickens.
