We couldn’t be more excited about the great response from our youngest audiences and have prepared a special selection of (mostly animated) short films for children to screen Thursdays at 6pm.You can now book a private screening
As we remain alert to the current health situation, we are not currently scheduling public screenings inside the theater, but will be taking private bookings- please feel free to reach out if you would like to come watch one of our films with your family or friends!

Compartimento Cinematográfico seeks to create a regular home for cinephiles in San Miguel de Allende and to celebrate cinema as a communal cultural experience on a weekly basis- a meeting point where all audiences can enjoy access to curated programming and discover both contemporary Mexican cinema and foreign films that do not reach commercial theaters in the region.
Located inside Mezcal-Art on Calzada de la Estación 59 (next to Immigration offices), Compartimento Cinematográfico currently hosts two screenings daily from Thursday to Sunday. Tickets are 65MXN general admission/ 50MXN for students and kids. Due to the health contingency, attendance is currently limited to 10 inside the theater- please make your reservation inn advance. Open-air screenings will be held on Thursdays with due precautions.
ALL FILMS IN SPANISH ARE SUBTITLED IN ENGLISH AND VICE VERSA.
