Carey: Flamenco/Habaneras/Tango [] Restaurante Lolita

It’s time for another concert from @clubsocialsanmiguel !

I am excited to present @careymusica Carey – a beautiful flamenco/habeneras/tango project (Aaron Saez -writer & Antonio Turro – producer, professor, and classical guitar performer) from Spain. Their latest album is breathing new life into a genre called Habeneras that dates back to the 19th century with shared roots between Cuba and Spain. They will be on tour in Mexico in early April & they are making a special stop in San Miguel on April 6.

Our special guest is local sculptor @juanluispotosi . You can find his unique and distinctive sculptures in his gallery at Fabrica Aurora. He currently works with materials recovered from construction sites, creating expressive and one of a kind characters that are featured in exhibitions and private collections worldwide. The concert will start with a conversation between Juan Luis and Aaron about what their Art means to them – and everything in between.

The concert location is at Lolita’s Restaurante @cocina.mexicana.lulita.sma . This is the very first restaurant I ever ate in when I arrived in San Miguel 7 years ago so I am thrilled that I can produce this concert in this absolutely beautiful venue.
